" Hofbräu Dunkel is a bottom-fermented dark beer that can be described as the archetype of the "Munich-style" Bavarian beer. Because there was dark beer in Bavaria long before light beer. And so it was the dark one that was the first beer to be brewed in the "Braunen Hofbräuhaus" when it was founded in 1589. A beer with real Munich tradition!

Tasting: A cream-colored foam and a beautiful beer color with a mahogany tone present themselves in the glass of the Hofbräu Dunkel. The malty floral bouquet with caramel notes sets the mood for the taste. Roasted malty, hoppy and with a subtle malt sweetness in the finish."
