"The true West Coast IPA, in which its lovely, honeyed colour brings notes with it of its resinous sweet malt layering, giving this beer a big backdrop with a little chewy lacquer - but from there, it’s all about the hops. This is about big grapefruit, huge doses of zesty lime & tangerine peel, pine needle-woodland floor and a pithy, biting edge. A ready herbal bitterness pulls back the sweeter malt and refreshes things. The finish is bracing and clean with extremely muted esters.
