As a small venue, tickets are extremely limited and we expect them to sell out fast so get in quick!!
A bit about the acts:
Chelsea Birkby is from the thriving metropolis of Milton Keynes. At 18, she left for the big city (York) to study philosophy (she would have got a tattoo of Albert Camus but is allergic to dye), later she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder but doesn't think she has it anymore (although her Dr said that was a "classic sign"). And then she found stand-up comedy.
Now, Chelsea is now a regular at nights across the UK and has performed at many of the UK's top comedy clubs and theatres (Angel, The Stand, Monkey Barrel, Komedia, Backyard, Glee, The Museum of Comedy, Leicester Square Theatre, Soho Theatre, Oxford Playhouse, Northwall Arts Centre), has been invited to perform in New York and Paris. She's a go-to for philosophy, literature, LGBTQ+ and mental health-themed comedy shows.
In 2022, she brought her highly-acclaimed, award-winning debut stand-up hour, No More Mr Nice Chelsea, to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. About what it is to be nice and when it's time to stop The show was directed by Alex Farrow. PR Textual Healing. It transferred for a sell-out run at London's Soho Theatre. She's now working on her second solo hour, Silly Sausage (Pain), it was listed in British Comedy Guide's top 10 picks.

"A hugely promising and already accomplished stand-up, surely destined for greater things."
★★★★, The Scotsman
"There's a sharp mind behind the sweet exterior. As her writing credits on Mock the Week suggest, she knows how to craft a well-made one-liner...Birkby wins the audience's affection so thoroughly."
★★★★, The Telegraph
"Star in the making Chelsea Birkby is a real talent, outshining the big guns with her easy charm and sparkling anecdotal humour. Her warm delivery and engaging stage presence belie a wicked, and frequently smutty, streak."
★★★★, Oxford Mail
Sam Michael is a stand up comedian and award winning podcaster who has been described as "effortlessly able to win over a crowd" (We Are Cult) and a "Wiltshire Comedy Legend" (BBC Radio Wiltshire).
A regular on the South West Comedy circuit for many years, Sam has appeared on bills with the likes of Russell Kane, Rosie Jones, Bobby Mair, Paul Foot and Stu Goldsmith.
In 2023, Sam Michael supported Smack The Pony star Fiona Allen on her UK Tour and hosted After-Dinner Sporting events with Sky Sports Legend, Jeff Stelling. He was also a finalist in the Stand Up For Cider 2023 Competition.
His online comedy sketches have amassed over a Million hits online and attracted thousands of followers world-wide. "A dry affair for all fans of comedy" - Bristol 24/7
“The most original set I’ve seen in a long time” - Simon Munnery
He's here, he's queer, he... can't remember what he came in for. Alasdair Wallace is "one of the most exciting voices in the South West," "a genuine joy to watch," and "fond of misleading quotation marks." There's a good chance you'll learn something, and a small chance it'll even be useful.
He's been nominated for the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award 2024 and shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award 2023. He doesn't have a single swimming badge, though. Not even a width. So you know, draw your own conclusions.
Holly Leggett is a gloriously gloomy, Bath based, stand-up comedian, performing in and around the South-West as well as running a monthly new material night in her hometown of Bath. Hollys humour had been described as unique, acerbic and… only a little bit dirty.
Oliver Young is a new generation comic who has already impressed on the scene with his dry wit and awkward likability he truly is one to watch, he's a former Chortle Student Comedy Award semi-finalist, standup for cider 2023 finalist and personifies the phrase, 'first the worst second the best'.
"Turns out a lot funnier than that sounds" - Bath Echo.
